[Travel] Baguio City | Mines View Park
Mines View Park is one of the most popular spot in Baguio. It is known for, well as the name says, Mines View, it has a viewing deck of Benguet's gold and copper mines.
I visited this place long time ago and some of the things I remembered here except the view are Beethoven, Pony, Igorot.
Beethoven (not the real name of the dog, I got it from the movie. hihi..) is a St. Bernard breed dog. This type of dog I think belongs to the giant category of their kind but is very gentle so its a good pet well u know if you have a huge house, not ideal for condo dwellers sorry. :D
You can have a group picture with it for a fee of Php50.
Pony or ponies since there are two available, is the cute horses that you can sit on for a pretend ride for photo op. Of course for a cost ( Php10 per shot). This time they are sporting a neon pink and purple... Ooooh my favorite colors.. I'm so not gonna miss this.
Igorot, just my term but I think they call it Cordillera Province local costume. Here you can play dress up with your buddies for only Php20 in full battle regalia. With spear and shield for man and a very girly flower basket for princess like me.
This place is boasting with souvenirs shops which will satiate you hunger for buying giveaways for those we all love at home. Me? I'm more into an unusual finds. I got myself a knuckles made of kamagong wood and an Igorot (Voodoo) Doll. I know it's creepy but I like having them because they are really hard to come by. ;)
